Izabela Hammond
B App Sc(Ost), M O, Member of Osteopathy Australia

Izabela successfully treats and helps her patients manage pain related conditions such as headaches, jaw pain and TMJ syndromes, neck and back pain, occupational and postural muscular strains or joint sprains, arthritis and sport injuries.

In 2004, two years after completing her Masters of Osteopathy degree, Izabela was delighted to be back at University of Western Sydney’s Osteopathy program as an examiner of the practical skills of Master of Osteopathy graduating students. This followed on to a weekly teaching position as Clinical Supervisor at the university teaching clinic that lasted 5 years. This involved training the students in individual osteopathic techniques (including manipulation), workplace assessment, patient handling, communication skills, and complex and chronic pain management.

Three pregnancies over the space of 5 years, and now running after 3 young children has also given Izabela a practical and thorough perspective on the osteopathic treatment of mechanical strain placed on a woman’s body during gestation, birth, full recovery from the birth process, and breastfeeding.
Izabela is a founding osteopath of The Osteopathy Clinic.
