Dr Izabela Hammond
B App Sc(Ost), M O, Member of Osteopathy Australia

Izabela treats and helps her patients manage pain related conditions such as headaches, jaw pain and TMJ syndrome, neck and back pain (including sciatica), occupational and postural muscular strains or joint sprains, arthritis and sport injuries.

Since completing her Master of Osteopathy degree in 2002 Izabela has worked extensively in clinical practice. Her focus in recent years has been  on complex pain conditions including inflammatory arthritis  (such as rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue and lupus disorders), chronic pain, and migraines. She has completed further education in pregnancy related pain, lymphatic conditions including lymphoedema and lipoedema management.

Izabela has a passion for patient education and making sure you gain further understanding of the condition and its short or long term management strategies.

Outside of direct clinical practice, Izabela was involved in osteopathic tertiary education at Western Sydney University between 2004 and 2009, and has completed a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (Learning and Teaching).

The rest of Izabela’s time is spent mothering 3 teenage children, tending an ever extending garden bed of Dahlias, listening to podcasts or audiobooks, evaluating YouTube Yoga, drinking tea, and trying to sleep in whenever she can.

Dr Stuart Hammond
B App Sc (Ost), MO, Member of Osteopathy Australia

Following a diagnosis of Fascioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy in 2022, Stuart has made the difficult decision to retire from his work as an Osteopath as of 14th December 2023.

Stuart has been practicing in Parramatta since he completed his Masters of Osteopathy in 2002. He treats patients with a variety of conditions including back and neck pain, sciatica, arthritic pain, headaches and migraines.
Stuart was a supervising clinician and practical examiner for the Osteopathic program in the School of Biomedical and Health Sciences at the University of Western Sydney for 7 years. He has also been a guest lecturer at post-graduate spinal manipulation workshops.
Stuart believes in providing the most up to date treatment for his patients and as such, regularly undertakes further study.These include advanced osteopathic treatment of pregnancy related pain and discomfort as well as clinical decision making and diagnosis.
Stuart currently sits on the New South Wales Osteopathy Council, a NSW government statutory body whose role is to manage notifications (complaints) about conduct, performance and health matters concerning registered osteopaths practising in NSW and health and conduct matters related to registered students training in NSW.
He is an active member of the Australian Osteopathic Association and is a proud father of 3 brilliant girls.
