How do I make an appointment?
You can make your booking online through this website. You can also call us on 0421085203.
What can I expect at an appointment?
Please allow about 1 hour for your new patient initial appointment. You’ll be asked to fill out a form detailing your medical history. An osteopath will discuss your area of pain / injury and anything of clinical significance in your medical history. An examination of the problem area will then take place, as well as a general screen of the musculoskeletal system, and if necessary the nervous and cardiovascular systems. You may be required to remove some of your clothing to allow free movement of your joints and muscles. If you have brought flexible clothing (gym clothing/leggings/sports shorts) with you we will ask you to change into it, however if you haven’t had the chance to bring any a gown is always available to change into. Following the examination a diagnosis will be made and the proposed treatment plan will be discussed with you. If appropriate, treatment will begin at the first appointment. Subsequent treatments take approximately 30 minutes. We encourage patients to bring flexible sports clothing for all appointments, however gowns are always provided to change into if required.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring any previous X-rays, Ultrasound, CT or MRI scans. If you have private health insurance covering osteopathic services please bring your card for instant rebates through the HICAPS system. Most people bring flexible sports clothing to change into for the appointment.
Where can I park?
There is metered parking along George Street and Charles Street within close walking distance. You can also park in the Wilson Carpark at 150 George Street (the street level elevator is in the corner closest to the ferry wharf), or the Eat Street Carpark and walk down George Street (5 minute walk). Many patients choose to park at Parramatta Westfield (2 to 4 hours free parking), it is approximately a 15 minutes walk from the clinic.
